Chloé Bertrand

Chloé Bertrand
Born and raised in post-Apartheid South Africa, to a Ghanaian mother and a French father, Chloé Bertrand works for social impact. From a young age, she has been involved in community work, organizing her first fundraiser for Uthando, a not-for-profit in Cape Town South Africa, at age 13. Chloé has also been an Amnesty Youth Group Leader and Young UNICEF Ambassador. She has also been a Pink Dynasty Ambassador, a leadership program she participated in that supports young marginalized women. Chloé holds a Master's in International Public Management from SciencesPo Paris and a Bachelor's in International Relations and Economics from SOAS, University of London. In 2021, Chloé founded afrorama, a web-based encyclopedia of Africa, to provide quality and accessible resources for learning about African topics.
