Chloé Bertrand, founder of Afrorama, has been selected to be part of the 2023 Africa Matters Ambassador Program (AMAP). The one-year program provides leadership development to young Africans, with the aim of addressing gaps in leadership, accountability, and transparency in their communities. Out of 2300 applicants, only 20 successful applicants were selected from different African countries, including Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Uganda, Botswana, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Egypt, Tanzania, Kenya, Algeria, and South Africa.

During their ambassadorship, each AMAP Ambassador will develop and implement a project that can effectively impact a minimum of 50 people in their border community. Through this process, Bertrand will be able to plan, scale, implement and further develop Afrorama.
