My name is Chloé Bertrand and I started Afrorama because I saw too many brilliant, passionate Africans and Afro-optimists struggle to find their place in the impact economy, not for lack of talent but for lack of visibility and access.

By 2030 I want Afrorama to have impacted 1 million people by promoting employment in the impact economy, particularly for youth, and increasing the number of people with the skills to succeed financially while driving change.

What we do

Afrorama is a platform that equips Afro-optimists with the resources to contribute to Africa's development. We connect talent with Africa-based and Africa-related opportunities in the impact economy, spanning jobs, volunteer roles, consultancies, research positions, training and funding.

We help job seekers gain insight into the job market, access resources to support their development and provide support for job application development.

In addition, we cultivate a community for networking and peer learning so you do not have to figure it all out alone.
